The HSA is a semi-automatic sleeve cutter. It can accommodate both 3″ and 6″ sleeves and allows for quick changeover times.
Cores are manually loaded onto the mandrel and automatically clamped in position. The HSA then automatically measures the core length and initiates the cutting process. During operation, the machine cuts the predefined core lengths stored in the program fully automatically.
To ensure optimum cutting quality and dimensional accuracy, the core is internally supported throughout the cutting process. This guarantees clean cuts and reliable performance, even when processing demanding core materials.

This winder is a versatile system solution designed for winding materials up to 400 mm in width and 1,200 mm in roll diameter. The machine is equipped with a single winding station featuring either a tension shaft or friction winding shaft, depending on the application requirements.
To ensure precise and reliable winding quality, the system includes a diameter sensor, a meter stop, and either a controlled lay-on arm or, alternatively, a dancer system for tension control. The machine is capable of operating at speeds of up to 800 m/min, making it suitable for a wide range of converting applications.

This PSA SpoolSlit, built in 2017, was used exclusively as a laboratory system and is therefore in very good condition. The machine is designed for a maximum parent roll width of 1,000 mm and is currently configured to wind narrow strips ranging from 35 mm to 200 mm in width onto rolls with a maximum diameter of 1,200 mm.
The slit strips are traversed across the winding shaft, enabling the production of finished rolls with a maximum winding width of 850 mm and a diameter of 1,200 mm.
